What Audis typically need in Singapore
Audi shares a DNA with the rest of VW Group (VW, Škoda, SEAT, Porsche on some engines). The servicing fundamentals are consistent:
Every 10,000 to 15,000 km: VAG-spec full synthetic oil (502.00, 504.00, 508.00 depending on engine), genuine or OEM-equivalent filters, fluid top-ups, brake inspection, tyre check.
EA888 2.0 TFSI (A3, A4, Q3, Q5): clean synthetic oil, PCV valve inspection, carbon cleaning around 80,000 to 100,000 km. Timing chain tensioner awareness on earlier Gen 2.
S-tronic DSG transmission: fluid and filter service every 60,000 km is critical. Skipping this is a common path to expensive DSG repairs.
Haldex / Quattro AWD: Haldex oil change every 60,000 km on transverse Quattros (A3, Q3). Full Quattro on longitudinal models has its own rear differential service schedule.
Aircon and battery: standard European service practice; batteries usually need coding. See our aircon guide.
Yes. We run VAG-compatible diagnostics (equivalent to ODIS) and handle service resets, battery coding, cam adaptation, DPF regen, and most common dealer-level tasks.
VAG 502.00 for older petrol, 504.00 for long-life petrol, 508.00 for the newer FE (fuel-economy) grades, 507.00 for long-life diesels. Common grades: 0W-20, 0W-30, 5W-30, 5W-40.
Yes. DSG fluid and filter service every 60,000 km, using correct VAG-spec DSG oil (G 052 182 for 6-speed wet DSG, G 052 529 for 7-speed dry DSG, G 055 529 for 7-speed wet DSG).
Yes. DPF regeneration, AdBlue top-ups, injector service, EGR cleaning, glow plugs. We handle the full TDI service cycle.
Yes. RS cars run shorter oil intervals (7,500 km recommended), VAG 502.00 or 508.00 spec, and need more frequent attention. We handle them properly.
No. Singapore’s Block Exemption Order applies. Use correct oil, OEM-equivalent parts, keep records, and warranty remains valid.
