What Seats typically need in Singapore
Seats share their MQB platform with VW, Audi, Skoda, and Cupra. Mechanically a Seat Ibiza is a VW Polo, an Ateca is a VW Tiguan / Skoda Karoq. We service them like a VW, with VCDS and proper VW-spec fluids:
Every 10,000 km or 12 months: full synthetic oil, OEM filter, fluid top-ups, brakes, tyres, battery, aircon check. See our servicing intervals guide.
DSG DQ200 dry-clutch is the watch item: Ibiza and Arona PI cars almost all have the 7-speed dry DQ200. SG stop-go traffic is hard on it; we check mechatronic and clutch wear at every major service.
EA211 timing belt: 1.0 and 1.5 TSI EA211 use a timing belt (wet or dry depending on year and market). Inspect at 80,000 km, replace by 100,000 km. We do it with the proper VW belt kit and water pump.
Every 40,000 to 60,000 km: cabin and engine air filters, spark plugs (60,000 km on the 1.0 TSI), brake fluid, DSG fluid (wet box only). Engine and gearbox page.

Yes. Seat exited the SG Agent scene before the current Ibiza / Arona / Ateca generation. Almost all SG Seats are PI from UK, Australia, or Europe. We service them like any other VW-group car.
Excellent, because Seat shares 95 percent of parts with VW Polo, Golf, Tiguan and Skoda Karoq, Octavia. Genuine and OEM-equivalent (Lemforder, Mahle, NGK, Bosch) are abundant with 1 to 3 day lead times.
1.0 / 1.5 TSI EA211 uses 0W-20 to VW 508.00 (newer) or 5W-30 to VW 504.00 (older). 2.0 TSI EA888 (Leon Cupra / Ateca FR) uses 5W-30 to VW 504.00. We stock the correct grades.
Most PI Seats are out of factory warranty or covered under PI dealer warranty terms. Where in-warranty applies, Singapore’s Block Exemption Order protects you when you use VW-spec fluids and OEM-equivalent parts.
Yes. DQ200 (dry 7-speed, common on Ibiza / Arona) and DQ250 / DQ381 (wet, on Leon / Ateca FR). We use VW-spec DSG fluid and proper VCDS basic-settings adaptation after fluid service.
