Suzuki service & repair at The Right Workshop

Suzukis are light, clever, and often overlooked by workshops that are used to bigger cars. We love them, we service them properly, and we know the quirks.

What Suzukis typically need in Singapore

Honest guidance, not upsells

Suzukis punch above their weight if you don’t skip the basics. Common maintenance pattern:

Every 10,000 km or 6 to 12 months: engine oil, filter, fluid top-ups, brakes, tyres, battery, aircon check.

BoosterJet turbo engines (Vitara, S-Cross, Swift Sport): clean synthetic oil, shorter intervals help. We recommend 7,500 km for hard-driven turbo Suzukis.

K-series naturally aspirated engines (Swift, Baleno, Ignis): legendarily reliable. Stay on oil intervals and they run forever.

Jimny 4×4: transfer case oil, front and rear differential oil, part-time 4WD actuator check. Don’t neglect these.

Aircon: Suzuki aircons are compact and sensitive. Cabin filter every 12 to 18 months, compressor lasts 7 to 10 years in SG.

Suzuki owner questions, answered

Do you service the Jimny properly? Transfer case and all?

Yes. Jimny servicing includes engine oil, transfer case oil, front and rear differential oils, part-time 4WD actuator checks, brakes, tyres and the whole driveline. We love Jimnys.

What oil does a Suzuki use?

Most Suzukis use 0W-20 or 5W-30 full synthetic. BoosterJet turbo engines use 0W-20 per spec. We stock both.

Do you service the BoosterJet turbo engines (Vitara / S-Cross / Swift Sport)?

Yes. These are strong little turbos when maintained. Clean oil is key. We also do intercooler inspections and recommend 7,500 km service intervals for heavy use.

Do you service parallel-import Suzukis?

Yes. PI Suzukis (especially Jimny, Swift Sport) are welcome. Parts availability is generally good through Japanese channels.

Will servicing here void my Suzuki warranty?

No. Singapore’s Block Exemption Order protects your right to service at an independent workshop. Use correct oil, keep records, warranty stays intact.
