1.0 turbo 3-cylinder timing chain: the 1.0 turbo on the Astra K and Corsa has a known chain-stretch pattern beyond 100,000 km. We listen at every service and quote chain replacement before it skips.
Cooling system: Opel thermostat housings (plastic) and water-pump weep around 80,000 to 120,000 km. We pressure-test and replace as a set with proper coolant.
Every 40,000 to 60,000 km: cabin and engine air filters, spark plugs, brake fluid, automatic transmission fluid service. Engine and gearbox page.
